Agriculture Science Academy  Learning Philosophy & Curriculum

Faith-filled, hands-on, and anything but ordinary!

At Agriculture Science Academy (ASA), we believe education should be purposeful, hands-on, and deeply rooted in faith. Our approach blends biblical truth, academic excellence, and real-world agricultural experience to shape students into confident, capable, and Christ-centered leaders.

Biblical Integration in Education

Faith is not just a subject at ASA—it is the foundation of everything we teach. Every lesson, whether in the classroom, barn, or field, reflects God’s design, wisdom, and purpose. Students learn that science, history, and agriculture are all part of His creation, equipping them with a biblical worldview that will guide them through life. We emphasize:

  • Biblical Worldview – Integrating faith into all subjects, helping students see God’s hand in learning.
  • Servant Leadership – Teaching students to use their gifts to serve others and honor Christ.
  • Hands-On Stewardship – Instilling responsibility and gratitude through caring for animals, land, and resources.

Learning, the Old-School Way

Our educational model reflects the rich traditions of early American education, using a one-room schoolhouse approach to encourage mentorship, responsibility, and collaborative learning.

Core Subjects Include

Personalized education…

We recognize that no two students learn the same way. That’s why ASA provides customized learning paths that build on each child’s strengths while reinforcing areas for growth. Through small class sizes, hands-on experiences, and individualized support, students thrive at their own pace.

…and a happy learning environment!

Our mission is to ignite a lifelong passion for learning in every student. By challenging advanced learners and uplifting those who need extra support, we cultivate an encouraging, faith-filled atmosphere where every student is valued, capable, and prepared for their future.

Project Learning

We integrate 4-H principles and service projects directly into the curriculum to cultivate leadership, responsibility, and real-world skills in our students. Through hands-on learning rooted in the 4-H values of head, heart, hands, and health, students engage in meaningful projects that connect academic subjects to life skills and community impact.

Service learning is woven throughout the school year, with students planning and participating in projects that serve local needs—such as:

  • Community cleanups

  • Food drives

  • Soldier care packages—encouraging empathy, teamwork, and active citizenship

This approach not only reinforces academic concepts but also empowers students to grow as compassionate, capable leaders.
